Saro-Airam Mendonça Sambú is a youth activist from Guinea Bissau who currently presides over the NCYAB youth board. She is also
 a host of the radio program “No Pensa No Future” 
(Without Knowledge No Future). As a radio host and activist, she has implemented several campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of childhood education. Sambú’s other campaigns have tackled topics like gender-based
 violence, harmful traditional practices, and child labor. Under her leadership, the NCYAB board held a session aimed at eliminating harmful social and cultural practices affecting young people in Guinea Bissau, during which they called upon the government to adopt laws to prevent violence against children.
