María Werlau

Cuban author and Director of Cuba Archive

Maria Werlau heads the Free Society Project, a/k/a Cuba Archive, which advances human rights through information. She has published extensively, provided expert testimony, and guest lectured on Cuban issues, and is frequently cited in the media. She has a Bachelors’ in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Masters’ in International Relations from Universidad de Chile.
