President Jorge “Tuto” Quiroga is a Bolivian politician who served as President of Bolivia from 2001 to 2002. In 1997, he was elected Vice President of Bolivia and became the youngest person to hold that office in the country's history. Quiroga has worked in the private sector at IBM and has served as governor for the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the International Monetary Fund, as well as the Andean Development Corporation. Since 2002, he has presided over FUNDEMOS, a Bolivian public policy think tank. He serves on the board of several international organizations and is a member and former vice president of the Club de Madrid.
