Joanna Hausmann is a Venezuelan-American comedian, writer, and actor critical of Nicolás Maduro’s authoritarian regime in Venezuela. Hausmann first gained popularity through YouTube and on Univision’s bilingual digital platform, “Flama.” Her videos have been featured on CNN, The Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, NPR, and the BBC. She was a correspondent for the Netflix series “Bill Nye Saves the World” and a house performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.
