Jim O’Neill is an American science and technology investor and former official at the United States Department of Health and Human Services. He was a managing director at Peter Thiel’s Mithril Capital in Silicon Valley. O’Neill was CEO of the SENS Research Foundation until his departure in July 2021. He is the founder of the Theil Fellowship and Breakout Labs.
