Fabiana Rosales is a Venezuelan human rights activist and prominent journalist. As the First Lady of Venezuela, married to acting president Juan Guaidó, she has been outspoken against the Maduro regime. Her career in politics came after her father's untimely death, which was tied to the country’s inadequate ability to provide medicine to its citizens. As a student, Rosales joined the political group "Voluntad Popular" (VP), a social-democratic party founded by Leopoldo López, the former Mayor of Chacao. Rosales continuously advocates for change in Venezuela by urging Maduro to step down, and acting as an international ambassador for the recognition of Guaidó as the legitimate acting president.
