Declan McKenna is a British singer-songwriter and musician. In 2015, he independently released a protest song entitled, “Brazil” in an effort to address the ongoing corruption scandal surrounding the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). He has released many tracks focused on advocacy and socio-political issues, including the LGBTQ community, right-wing media, and religious zealotry. After signing with Columbia Records in 2016, McKenna released his first album, “What Do You Think About the Car?,” which highlights the challenges of being a teenager in today’s political climate.
