Hector Schamis teaches at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He was a fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center and a visiting scholar at Cambridge University and the Central European University. He’s a weekly columnist at Infobae. He’s also written for El País (Madrid) and is a regular analyst at CNN and NTN24. He is the author of books and academic articles on privatization and state reform, authoritarianism, populism, democratization and human rights.
