How to Set Up and Run a Democratic Government in Exile

In response to the rise of authoritarianism, we must reimagine democracy as a dynamic and formidable challenge to autocracy. Lobsang Sangay, who served as president of the Central Tibetan Administration from 2012–2021, will explain how to run a democratic government in exile. Sangay will present the Central Tibetan Administration, located in Dharamshala, India, as a successful model for other opposition leaders to set up governing bodies abroad.
